At Marley's Place, we take pride in offering a comfortable and welcoming place. Our motel is named after a very special family member who’s no longer with us – Marley, a spirited and loyal chocolate Labrador.

Marley wasn’t just a pet; she was a real hunting dog through and through. Every time the call “fetch ’em up” rang out, she’d spring into action, sprinting through the fields and around the property to retrieve ducks. Her energy and enthusiasm were boundless, and she loved nothing more than running around the dam, splashing through the water, and making her mark as the best companion you could ask for.

Marley’s adventures weren’t limited to the hunting grounds, though. She was a beloved member of our family, and her presence filled every corner of our lives with love, and a bit of wildness. One of her most memorable moments came when she had a litter of 12 beautiful puppies, each one inheriting her tenacity and heart.

Though Marley is no longer with us, her spirit lives on at Marley's Place, where we continue to honor her memory with every guest who walks through our doors. Whether you're here for a night or a week, we hope you feel a little bit of Marley’s joyful energy surrounding you.
